When it comes to choosing window shades, Blind Inspiration has a range of blinds second to none. All custom made to suit your windows or doors and fitted by us, no middle men to worry about.
Our standard blinds which most suppliers will do as well, are made up of Roller, Venetian, Vertical, Roman, Wood and pleated but we do far more than just the standard and these can be seen in our unique videos through our website. The following gives you information on some of these products.
Silhouette Shades
A very light and elegant shade, that's also entirely practical - the Luxaflex Silhouette provides everything you need from a window shade. The soft rotating fabric elements, which are sandwhiched between two layers of sheer fabric, allow you to create the widest range of moods by controlling the light levels in each room. Plus you have the added advantage of the sheer fabric, providing you with an instant level of privacy. Available in 50mm, 75mm and 100mm vane widths and can be manually or electrically controlled. See our specialist voile video on the website
Facettes Shades
Our Facette shades, combine soft fabric with the practicality of Venetian blind so you get a very light and organic shade, that will add a sense of elegance to any room. This clever blind works using two layers of fabric, one behind the other. Operated manually only, when the chain is pulled, the blind will give subtle control of light and privacy in an unusual way. Duette Shades
The Luxaflex duette shade, is probably our best seller and in my opinion, the best practical blind money can buy. The reason for this is its construction, the fabric has a honeycombe structure, which in turn gives you an air gap between 2 layers of fabric. Based on double glazing technology, this air gap between the fabric , means it keeps the heat out in the summer and keeps it in during the winter. Coupled with the models available, it can be used to solve a multitude of problem windows and doors i.e. shapes, top down bottom up and many other scenarios. Many manual control choices are available as well as fully motorised. See our duette video on the website
Japanese Sliding Panels
Japanese Sliding panels, are made up in a material called washi, which is Japanese for paper. The product is based on the original idea of Japanese paper panels, which in the past were set into a wooden frame, hinged together and stood on the floor. This product has brought the idea into 21st century to give a stunning look to any room, whether it’s for a room divider, patio doors or wardrobe openings. The washi paper material used, is laminated on both sides so is very durable and easy to clean. The panels themselves are made up in segments and these segments are separated by decorative trims, available in a range of finishes and widths. The panels are attached to a sliding track system so when the panels are retracted, they slide back behind each other. See our Japanese sliding panel video on the website
