Venetian blinds have a long history dating back to at least the early 1700s and far earlier by all accounts.  Today, the Venetian blind is used extensively throughout the UK and the World and because of its durability, flexibility and ease of use, it will continue to do so.

Venetian blinds provide you with a combination of technical excellence,  plus the added bonus of luxurious finishes in a wide variety of styles, offering  you precision control of the light in any room. You get to choose from blinds in a huge variety of colours, including soft pastels and metallic finishes and styles with everything from the purely traditional, to the more modern. Available in a range of slat widths 16mm, 25mm 35mm and 50mm, your choice is vast.

The normal control system on a venetian blind, is made up of a cord which will raise the blind and a nylon tilt wand, which gives you fine control of light and viewing capabilities. There is also a chain version, which does the tilting and raising with the same control. The ultimate though, is a fully motorised version, which will mean you can sit in your chair and press a button on a remote control and watch it work itself.

The standard Venetian blind does all it needs to do very well and can add a modern or traditional look to your home depending on the styles and slatting used. The Ondulette venetian blind, is one of these products.  It works in the same way as a normal venetian blind, the difference is in the slatting, which has been sculptured to form a design within its slatting, this sculpturing process, is carefully made to form a pattern in the blind. The designs available are wave, cube, ocean, kite, diamond and desert and have to be seen to be fully appreciated. 

The Megaview venetian blind, has the ability to give more viewing capability when tilted open, by allowing a slat to drop on top of another slat. This gives you viewing space where there would have been a slat.

The Variozone venetian blind, is a quirky product, which allows you to have the blind closed at certain positions, while at the same time having it open at others, known as a zonal blind opening at different positions.

The Perforated venetian blind, is all about the slatting used. The slats have small holes, which means in the day when the blind is closed you will see out but nobody will see in. At night it reverses so if a light is on in a room, you will be seen from outside but you will not be able to see outside.
