Silhouette Blinds

If you want a very special effect, then the Silhouette Shade is the blind for you. The blind is made up of soft floating textile vanes, which hang horizontally (see image 1 below). These vanes are encased between transparent sheers, so when the blind is down you can see through them as you would a voile curtain. Pulling the cord slightly either raises the blind or tilts the vanes to give you total privacy, this is dependant on which fabric you choose, as you can probably tell this gives you the best of both worlds the flexibility of light control and privacy all in one blind.

The Silhouette blind can be controlled as per standard with looped cord or can have full  electrical operation or if preferred infra red battery remote control system. When the blind is lowered the fabric remains flat, as it reaches its final manufactured drop the blind then becomes a sheer type venetian by opening its structure and allowing you to tilt the blind to either, filter or shut the light out. The tilting of the blind will only work when the blind has travelled to its final drop. When the blind is raised the vanes and voile will go flat and the blind will raise similar to a roller blind, if you stop pulling the cord at any point the blind will stop in that position. The silhouette has its own cassette box which the fabric will  retract into when fully raised, this means that there is no blind visible apart from the box itself. The Cassette box comes in a range of colours which are designed to go with your fabric choice

There is a wide range of textures and colours available in this truly unique blind with options of 50mm or 75mm or the new 100mm vane widths.
