Pinoleum Wood Blinds

Pinoleum Wood Blinds

Often known as woven wood blinds, pinoleum can in most cases be seen through and tends to filter light, rather than completely stop it. French pinoleum is made from veneers and reeds of real timber, woven with polyester cords. All blinds are edged in coordinated cotton tape, binding to prevent chipping of the timber.

The blind can be in roll up form or in the more popular roman style (see image 1 below), which are folds that stack on top of each other. Controls can be cord and cleat, which means you pull the blind up and wrap cord around cleat to secure blind, cord and lock, which is a locking devise similar to Venetian blinds or you can go for full electrical control.

Comprehensive range of fabrics available and reflective lining, can be added to the back of the blind to increase its shading and insulation qualities.

Also used in conservatory roof blinds, see conservatory section.
