Velux and Skylight Blinds

We not only make blinds for Velux brand window sizes, we also manufacture non velux skylight systems which a lot of suppliers will not offer. There are 5 types of blind available for Skylight or Velux type windows. They are Roller, Metal Venetians, Roman, Single pleated (Plisse) and the superior double pleated Duette.The system has a cassette box fitted to the top of the window which the blind will retract into, it also has slim side guide rails. The system fits seamlessly on any frame and can be controlled by hand or wand operation. The blind can be lowered or raised to any desired height on the window. Roller Blind 

Probably the most cost effective blind to use the roller blind comes in standard or blackout fabric. Controls systems available are manual, wand, solar powered or full electric although this option depends on if your window has an electrical open and shut system.

Venetian blind

This allows you to control and direct the light. Available with manual control or a tilt only function which is powered by battery using a remote handset.

Plisse single pleat

Imagine making a fan out of paper this is the look of the Plisse blind. The cords run through the fabric and are visible so if blackout is used with this fabric holes of daylight will be seen. Manual control only

Duette Blind

Without doubt the best blind on the market today with its honeycombe structure in blackout fabric its the ultimate blind. Take a look at our video on Duette in the pleated section of this website. Manual control only

Roman Blind

Almost any fabric can be expertly hand made into a roman blind for Velux windows. The blind can be lined or light resistant lined as required. Pleats are held in place by side channels that guide extended pocket rods. Control cords will be visible with this product

Roller blinds are the most cost effective skylight blind. Extensive range of fabrics available from sheers to light resistant. Image to the left shows roller blind in its cassette with the side cover profile to hide edges. The double pleated Duette, single pleated Plisse and metal venetian blind all have the same sytem as the roller blind with cassette and side profile.

The ultimate in skylight blinds is the Duette double pleat again available In a comprehensive range of fabrics. Its unique honeycombed construction gives maximum efficiency with insulation, light and heat control. Extensive range of finishes with tilt handle built in mechanism. Also available Is a battery operated remote tilt option For those difficult to operate skylights. To raise the blind manually pull bottom bar up and down. To tilt slats turn knob on top right hand side of image. For areas that cannot be reached a pole will be supplied to operate tilt and raise.
