Pleated and Duette Blinds

We have in our range two types of pleated blind and within each range a wide selection of colours and designs. The Standard Pleated blind which most suppliers will use is known as the Plisse or single pleated blind. It is used in conservatory roofs, side windows and doors and with our system can be used in a multitude of different ways and configurations. Maximum sizes for this product depending on fabric choice between 2000mm and 2400mm wide with max drop of 2500mm at these large sizes the fabric may have a centre join again dependant on fabric limitations. Our second type of blind is what i call the best blind in the world, a strong statement but one i believe is true. The blind is the Luxaflex Duette a double pleated blind used in conservatory roofs, side windows and doors. As with the plisse single pleated blind the Duette can be used in many ways on a window or door situation with various control options and configurations. Based on Double glazing technology its honeycombe structure is unbeatable when it comes to insulation in the winter and heat control in the summer and in my opinion should be fitted to every new home in the UK as standard. It has unbelievable size limitations with a maximum size using just one blind of 4200mm wide x 3000mm drop with no joins in the fabric. When its used on large blinds like this its like putting a blanket over the window.
